Life is a journey.  We all experience ups and downs and sometimes find it hard to understand or cope with the situations we find ourselves in in the present or have gone through in the past. 
 

There are many reasons people seek help through counselling.  I simply offer a safe and confidential space where you can talk to myself, a trained, supportive and non-judgmental person who will walk with you on this part of your journey.  Being heard and helped to explore your experiences, thoughts, feelings and choices can help you move towards a better understanding of yourself which can in turn lead to lasting and meaningful life changes.

  • You may have been experiencing low mood or numbness lately, and finding it hard to 'snap out of it', which is affecting your daily life.

     

  • You may be aware of feeling more anxiety than usual in certain, or all, situations, and so you've stopped going out, or seeing people as much as you might once have.
     

  • You may have been struggling with a particular relationship, and don't know how to make it better.
     

  • You may have suffered a bereavement, or a significant loss, disappointment or change in life and found it has impacted your ability to cope or enjoy life.
     

  • You may have experienced a traumatic event or circumstances and are finding it hard to recover.
     

  • You may be struggling with self-confidence and find it is affecting your work or relationships or another area of life.
